Research into light as a regenerative and healing force was first done by the Russians in the early 1960's. They theorized that different types of light would produce various types of healing reactions. What they found was that a specific wavelength of light, produced in laboratory using a laser, could stimulate DNA protein activity in damaged cell tissue. This activity of increased protein cell production within each cell is brought about by the energy created by light stimulation.

It has since been discovered that the optimum wavelength for cell creation ranges between 600 and 720 nanometers. The Stimu-Light produces light at 660 nanometers; midway between the high and low parameters of cellular excitivity. Light energy from this lamp can penetrate the skin as much as an inch below the
surface. This particular wavelength of light can stimulate ATP production, elevated inter-cellular messaging activity and increased cellular metabolism. This translates into new cell growth and reduced inflammatory activity, if present.

Stimu-Light can be used for:

The Stimu-Light uses 32 high output LED's. The unit is configured such that one press of the on button activates half of the LED's, a second push turns the unit off, a third push activates all 32 LED's, and a fourth push turns the unit off again.


The Stimu-Light comes complete with batteries, storage case, instructions and a useful, collapsing tripod holder. The holder makes it possible to benefit from extended periods of treatment, without having to hold the unit. We've found that most people who've used similar units, reduce their treatment time due to the inconvenience and tediousness of holding and pointing the device. Not so with The Stimu-Light. The Stimu-Light is easy to use, effective and affordable.

Suggested Use:
The Stimu-Light should be used for at least 30 minutes, at least two or three times daily for acute cases.  With improvement, you may scale back usage as desired.   No contra-indications have been noted with prolonged use of this device.  The Stimu-Light should not be used on the eyes.  Do not look directly at the light source.
