Probax is a topical solution that you apply directly on your Cold Sores, Fever Blisters or other Skin Lesions. Probax is the perfect companion to L-Lysine in the treatment and relief of Cold Sores.

Probax is ideal to carry around with you in your pocket or purse to have on hand for the utmost in convenience. If you're prone to outbreaks, as many are, don't wait for them to strike - be sure you have Probax on hand and ready to go.

Cold sores or fever blisters are caused by a virus infection of the skin and usually appear on the face, particularly around the lips. Eruptions may occur following overexposure to wind and sunlight or due to a reaction to certain foods, drugs, illnesses or emotional stress.

First symptoms are usually discomfort and itching, followed by the appearance of tiny blisters.
These blisters persist for a few days, then begin too dry, forming a thin yellowish crust.

Healing begins after 7 to 10 days and usually takes about 14 days. If the area is moist or if a secondary infection occurs, healing may be slower.

Ingredients:

Directions:
Apply Probax (at the 1st sign of infection: usually a tingling sensation) to the affected and surrounding area, as follows:
Apply every 15 minutes for the 1st 2 hours.
Then, every hour for the 1st day.
Thereafter, apply affected area 3 to 6 times a day until healed.
It is recommended that hands be washed after touching cold sore lesions to guard against further spread of the infection.
The Petroleum base of the Probax formula keeps the infected area protected from moisture. For optimum results, keep applying Probax continuously until healed, to keep the area moisture-free, .
